PBT fibers are available in glossy, satin, or matte finishes. It all depends on the way that the products were made. They are all made from the same material, but they can be manipulated in different ways.

Classic Lashes Length

Classic eyelash extensions are 5mm to 15mm in length. For the inner corners, shorter lashes will be used and longer lashes for the rest.

It is important to choose the right length for your classic lashes. Everyone has a different face shape and you want to make sure that you are comfortable and feel your best. The classic lash extensions are between 9mm and 13mm. Extensions should not exceed 20% of the length of your natural lashes.

For creating hybrid lashes, extra-long lashes (longer than 8mm-16mm) can be used.

Classic lash extensions length:

  • Short – 5mm to 8mm – for inner corners of the eye
  • Medium – 9mm to 12mm – most commonly used
  • Long – 13mm to 14mm – for those who want a more dramatic effect and have long natural lashes
Classic Lashes Thickness

The classic eyelash extensions are available in a variety of thicknesses, ranging from 0.10mm up to 0.25mm. At Lash Addict Studio, we use the 0.15mm classic lashes most of the time and the 0.10mm for weaker lashes.

The most common thickness for classic eyelashes is 0.15mm to give a natural look. You can go bolder and more glamorous with lash extensions of 0.20mm. Only people with thicker lashes than 0.15mm are recommended.

Classic Lashes Curl Type

There are many classic types of eyelash extensions, each with a different look. Each letter represents the type of curl.

  • C curl lashes – The most popular and uplifted lashes to open the eyes
  • CC curl lashes – Just like the C curl but with a more dramatic flair
  • D curl lashes – Gives a dramatic and glamorous look
  • DD curl lashes – Gives a more dramatic effect. Recommended for clients who want to extremely open up their eye
Classic Lashes Shape

There are also flat extensions aside from a conventional extension with a round base. These can also be used to make classic eyelash extensions. Because they stick better to natural lashes, flat classic eyelash extensions have been gaining popularity. This is because the oval base is more flexible than round-shaped lashes.

Flat lashes can also be called cashmere or ellipse lashes. These lashes are lighter than the traditional ones and last longer. They also require less glue. Flat lashes can be used to make dramatic, darker eyelash extensions.
