Here you'll find all you need to know about aftercare for your eyelash services, permanent makeup services, and perming service aftercare!

Aftercare for lash extensions

Lash Extensions are a luxury and require some love to keep them looking their best! Follow these aftercare tips to keep your lashes living their best life!

This will allow the glue to fully cure, thus securing the extension to your lash. (If your lash artist uses bonder at the end of your service, you may be able to skip this step) After the first day of keeping your lashes dry, daily cleansing is needed to keep any excess oil from building up, wash away any makeup from the day, and keep your set looking soft and fluffy. No build-up or oily  lashes here!

if you wear makeup or excessively produce oil, double cleanse in one wash to first loosen the makeup/oil during the first wash, then to finally wash it off the second time! This will keep your lashes free of makeup buildup

Your lashes can and will singe. Steam like saunas, a hot tub or the dishwasher can loosen the curl of your extensions, making them appear flatter.

You can potentially cause damage to your natural eyelashes if you pick at them. Try not to sleep on your face, or get a silk pillowcase/eye mask to protect your lashes while you sleep. Lash extensions are glued to your natural lash. To get  lash extensions put on, we need your natural lashes to be healthy and clean. Pulling or picking your extensions can damage the hair follicle it is attached to, resulting in poor retention and lash loss.

Your body is great at fighting off foreign things, like lashes! Your body does this by producing natural oils that can build up over time. Make sure you wash your lashes at least once a day to prevent buildup. Always use oil-free face care products and do not use waterproof makeup.

Why? Because it causes your lash extensions to stick together and it is incredibly hard to remove from your  lashes. Also, the ingredients can compromise the adhesion resulting in a premature lash loss. If you insist on wearing makeup with your lashes look for lash extension friendly brands, like our vivid black liquid eyeliner. With that said, wearing mascara on the bottom lashes is still a big no-no, as an alternate option, we offer bottom lash tinting.

eyelash curlers, blow dryers (mostly on the front of your face), curling irons, and other heat sourced grooming hair care products. This doesn't mean you can never style your hair, just be cautious when framing your face and try to use a cooler setting when close to your lashes.

we give 3 days after every lash extension appointment to let us know if you experience any excessive early fall-out, which is eligible for a "lash repair" appointment at no cost to you.

Aftercare for Lash Lift and Brown Laminations

Perming is for more than just kinky hair! We use perming solutions to create the perfect eyelash and brows. These services are lash lifts and brow lamination. Perms are great for quick results that last the life cycle of your hair and requires minimal maintenance. However, there are some key takeaways to follow when keeping up with your new low maintenance service.

It is normal to get this service repeated every 4-6 weeks. Some clients may be able to go longer without having the process repeated. The perm will last until the permed hairs have naturally been shed.
